Terms, refunds and privacy

What you're buying
- One seat for one student, ages 13 to 18, in one eight-week group: Thursday evenings (6–8 p.m., September 24 to November 12, 2026) or Saturday mornings (10 a.m. to noon, September 26 to November 14, 2026).
- The price is $499, paid once by card through Stripe. It covers all eight sessions and the AI tool costs for the term. There are no other fees.
- Groups are capped at ten students. A group runs with at least six paid students. If a group is cancelled, everyone in it is refunded in full.
- Sessions are in person at a rented classroom space in the Grandville–Jenison, Michigan area. The address is emailed to enrolled families before the first session. If the space has to change during the term, you'll be told by email at least two days ahead.
- Students bring a laptop if they have one; a school Chromebook works. The studio has laptops to borrow for those who don't.
- A parent or guardian must complete enrollment for students under 18.
Refunds
- Before the first session: full refund, for any reason. Email us and it goes back to your card within a few days.
- After the first session: full refund if you tell us within three days of session one that it isn't right for your teen.
- After that: no refund for withdrawing, but the seat can go to another student in the same group at no charge.
- If a group is cancelled because fewer than six students enrolled, or for any other reason on our side, you get a full refund without asking.
- Missed sessions aren't refunded. Nick will help your teen catch up the following week.
In the studio
- Students use AI tool accounts that Nick provides and can see. They don't use personal accounts in the studio.
- Private information (full names, addresses, photos of people, passwords) stays out of the tools. Nobody uses a real person's face, voice or work without permission.
- Anything a tool produces that isn't appropriate for a room of teenagers gets removed and talked about. Repeated deliberate misuse is grounds for ending a student's enrollment, with a refund for the unused sessions.
- Students own what they make. Nick may show student work on this site or in ads only with written permission from the parent and the student, and never with a student's face or full name without the same permission.
- Nick is the only adult in the room and is not a licensed childcare provider. Drop-off is no earlier than ten minutes before a session; pickup is at the end of the session.
Privacy
- To enroll we collect the parent's name, email and phone, and the student's first name and age. Stripe processes the card; we never see the card number.
- If you ask for details by email, we keep your email address for that purpose.
- This site uses analytics and advertising tags (Google, Meta and similar) to measure whether ads work. They see that a page was viewed or a purchase happened and the ad that led to it; they don't receive the enrollment form contents. Ad blockers stop them and the site still works.
- We don't sell or share family or student information with anyone except the payment processor and the tools needed to run the studio.
- To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email us. It's done within a week.
